Here is the book the goal is to become master bread makers. We will cook one recipe a week and post our joys and frustrations of the process. Make sure to post pictures and most of all have fun. Don't forget to get your family involved on the process of baking and testing the deliciousness! We will start the first week of September. So order your book and do the reading at the beginning. If you do not want to purchase the book let me know I am MORE then happy to make copies or the reading and recipes and mail them to you! Enjoy
I can't purchase the book right now, but I would LOVE to become a master bread maker. I make bread every week as it is (just regular sandwich bread), but sometimes it turns out better than others and I really have no idea what I need to do to make it turn out great every time. I need to know the SCIENCE behind bread making! If you wanted to send me the copies, I will totally join you! And then hopefully I can purchase the book a little later.
ReplyDeleteOK, I just requested a hold on it at the local library (it's checked out already). I really need it though. Making my weekly bread today and for some reason, my loaves are not rising. I am majorly bummed!
ReplyDeleteHey Shauna maybe you are killing your yeast. The tip I have heard was the water should not feel warm or cold. Same as your body temp. I don't know give it a try.
